How it works

You decide how collective impact gets funded.

CrowdFlow is the institutional engine for deliberate, transparent collective action.

Member Participation

Every member gets a voice.

At CrowdFlow, every verified member starts with a voice. Monthly votes let members help direct support, and cause-level pledged dollars can increase the funding behind the causes they choose.

  • Get 5 Votes Every Month

Guide causes you care about every month.

  • Pledged Dollars to a Cause

Add pledged dollars directly to a cause and get additional votes for that cause.

  • Adjust Before Close

Change your votes while the monthly cycle is open. Final allocations lock when the cycle closes.

Core Strategies

Support the strategies you trust.

Each cause on CrowdFlow features multiple strategic pathways, from legal action and research to advocacy campaigns and direct support. Some strategies are associated with partner organizations that help explain or execute the work.

Use votes to show which strategy you want to move forward while the cycle is open.

Core Strategies of the Institutional Framework

Choose a Strategy

Compare the tactics on each cause and back the path you want to move forward. CrowdFlow works best when participants make an explicit strategy choice.

Contribution Routing & Cycle Close

You support a strategy. CrowdFlow shows the route and timing.

CrowdFlow helps people direct support toward strategies for solving public problems. The payment route, tax treatment, platform fee, and net support amount are part of the normal contribution flow, and final allocations lock when the monthly cycle closes.

Point 1

Support strategies, not partners directly

You choose strategies for causes you care about. Partner organizations may help explain, execute, or receive downstream support for a strategy, but they are not the direct payment recipient unless we say so explicitly.

Point 2

Processed by the CrowdFlow lane entity

Contributions are processed through the applicable CrowdFlow lane entity. For C4 strategies, contributions are made to CrowdFlow Action, a 501(c)(4), and are not deductible as charitable contributions.

Point 3

Review the details before you confirm

CrowdFlow shows the recipient, tax treatment, contribution amount, platform fee, and net amount available for downstream support before you confirm.

Point 4

Cycle close locks the allocation

While the monthly cycle is open, members can adjust their support. At close, final allocations are recorded and successfully collected funds are used for downstream support consistent with the selected strategy, lane rules, and reporting controls.

Sponsor commitments

Your votes unlockextra funding.

Public sponsor amounts on launch surfaces are shown as campaign display metadata alongside community donations. The community vote still determines the leading eligible strategy at cycle close.

Institutional Backing

Brands, foundations, and sponsors add real dollars alongside community funding.

Brands, foundations, and corporate sponsors can appear with public campaign amounts that create display pools alongside community donations.

Sponsor finance is tracked separately from community dollars on internal reporting seams while public sponsor displays stay editorial. Your votes still help decide where the spotlight lands.

Institutional Framework

Transparency isn't a promise. It's the product.

Built for accountability from the ground up, CrowdFlow shows how votes turned into dollars, which legal entity handled each transfer, and which partner received the funding after settlement locked.

Cycle Report

Settlement you can audit

Every cycle report publishes vote totals, strategy-by-strategy funding splits, settlement routing, and partner outcome updates. Public sponsor displays stay editorial at launch while the report is generated from locked settlement data, not editable summaries.
